It’s been a busy month for Team Chatterbox, in which we donned our sparkliest shoes and headed to the Cardiff Life Awards along with the city’s finest business people and fabulous organisations.
With witty rugby ref Nigel Owens taking the mic, it was a lively occasion in great company, with new contacts and friends made over a delicious dinner at City Hall. We had our most gracious loser faces at the ready when the winner of the Business Services category was announced, with the award going to Illustrate Digital, and did an extra big ‘yay’ when City Hospice was revealed as the Charity of the Year.
From June, we’ll be signing up to City Hospice’s Platinum Pledge and aiming to raise as much money as we can to help support the vital work they do for patients with uncurable illnesses and their families, so watch this blog to learn more!
In the meantime, Chatterbox founder Rebecca is swapping the glitzy heels back to muddy boots to tackle a pretty big challenge – well, three pretty big challenges, actually! On June 15, Rebecca and friends including Wayne Evans, who runs Joe Fizz Asset Finance, will be climbing Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan in 15 hours as part of the Welsh 3 Peaks event in aid of Ty Hafan children’s hospice. The highest mountains in north, mid and south Wales respectively, and with 120 miles of the A470 between them, it’s going to be a race against the clock… bring on the Haribos!
